Server log files

When you visit this website, the hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits. This includes: IP address, date and time of the request, user agent (browser/operating system), and the requested URL.

This data is used exclusively to ensure the technically error-free operation of the website and for IT security purposes (e.g. detecting abuse), and is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the operation and security of the website).

Contact form

If you use the contact form, the data you enter (name, email address, message) is sent by email to michael@bykovski.de. Delivery is handled via IONOS SE.

This processing serves exclusively to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) where no contractual relationship applies. The data is stored only for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and is deleted afterwards, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

The form is protected by a session-less nonce mechanism (CSRF protection), which does not process any personal data.

No cookies, no tracking, no analytics

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or advertising. No usage profiles are created.

Self-hosted fonts & scripts

All fonts (Archivo, Fraunces) and all JavaScript are self-hosted and served locally from this server. There is no connection to Google Fonts, jsDelivr, or any other external CDN; no data is transmitted to third parties such as Google when this page loads.

External content

All images on this website (including the “Photography” page) are served from this server itself; viewing them does not transmit any data to third parties.

This website contains links to external third-party services (github.com/bykof, instagram.com/bykof) that you must actively click. Only once you click do you leave this website; the respective provider is then responsible for the privacy policy that applies.

Your rights as a data subject

Under the GDPR you have the following rights regarding personal data concerning you:
